and 3rd at the National Tournament in Philadelphia

Thank you for a great summer season!! Great job to all LAW members. It was an exciting season with many firsts. We participated in our first 14 & Under tournaments. We participated and placed 7th in the inaugural Girls High School AWP League. We participated and placed 1st in the inaugural Boys High School AWP League. The boys competed and placed 3rd in the National State Challenge in Philadelphia. The girls ended their season by placing 3rd at the Bremen Tournament! LAW has definitely made a name for itself this summer season.

Fall League for 14& U Girls and Boys not in High School  and 12 & U Girls and Boys.   We are putting together a 14 & U Girls team, a 14 & U Boys team and a 12 & U Co-ed team to enter the Midwest Age Group Water Polo League this Fall!    The season will start the week of September 1st and run through October 26.   We will practice twice a week for 2 hours and will have games on either Saturday or Sunday each week. Practice as of right now will be held at Lincoln-Way North High School, days to be determined.   There will be a 12 & Under tournament October 18/19 at Lyons High School and a 14 & Under Tournament Octo ber 24/26 at Stevenson High School.   The winner of the girls and boys 14 & U tournament will travel to Ann Arbor Michigan to play in the Speedo Cup Championship. Cost to join will be $175 (all game and tournament fees included with the exception of the Ann Arbor Speedo Cup Championship)   Please let Coach VanSwol know ASAP by e-mail if you are interested in joining the fall league. League entry forms are due by August 29th we must submit all forms by this date or we cannot get in. Registration will be held the first night of practice information will follow.   Tell all your friends! Everyone is welcomed!
